From Louisiana Roots to Florida's Gulf Coast
Alexander2 Construction was founded by two brothers — Tyler and Collin Alexander — who grew up around construction sites in Louisiana. What started as hands-on work during summers and weekends became a career spanning more than three decades. We moved to Florida and established Alexander2 Construction LLC to bring the work ethic and craftsmanship we were raised on to one of the country's most demanding residential markets.
Today, we're a licensed Florida general contractor (CBC1266523) building luxury custom homes in Tampa, St. Petersburg, Fort Myers, Naples, and Marco Island. We've kept the company intentionally focused — we take on a limited number of projects at a time so we can give each one the attention it deserves.
We don't outsource project management or hand off your build to a crew we've never worked with. Our team is on your job, managing every phase from permitting to final walkthrough. When you call Alexander2, you get Tyler or Collin — not a dispatcher.

Collin Alexander
Collin oversees field operations, subcontractor coordination, and quality control on every active jobsite. His background in hands-on construction means he's on-site, in the details, and accountable for the craftsmanship that goes into every Alexander2 home.
Tyler Alexander
Tyler manages client relationships, project planning, and day-to-day operations across all five Gulf Coast markets. With decades of hands-on construction experience, he's the first point of contact for every new project and the person who makes sure your build stays on time, on budget, and on target.
How We Work
Building a custom home is one of the largest investments you'll make. Our process is designed to take the uncertainty out of it.
We start with a conversation about your vision, your lot (or help you find one), your budget range, and your timeline. This meeting is free and there's no obligation.
We work with architects and designers to develop plans that match your lifestyle, your lot's conditions, and local building requirements. We coordinate all site analysis, survey work, and engineering.
We prepare and submit the full permit package to the appropriate county authority — Hillsborough, Pinellas, Lee, or Collier County depending on your project location. We manage all reviews, revisions, and approvals.
Your home goes up with our team managing every trade, every inspection, and every detail. We keep you informed with regular updates and site visits. No surprises.
We walk through every room together. We don't hand over the keys until you're satisfied that everything meets our shared standard.
